Representation of Children and Youth
In some situations pertaining to parenting arrangements, the Court can appoint a lawyer to represent the interests of the children. These lawyers are appointed through the Society of Children and Youth of BC. Jeanine Ball is one of the qualified lawyers in BC to represent children in family law matters and is a member of the Roaster Lawyer for the Society of Children and Youth of BC.
Non-Evaluative Child’s Views Reports
Hear the Child Reports provide children with an age-appropriate opportunity to have their views shared in family proceedings. Our qualified report writers prepare these reports with sensitivity, professionalism, and a child-focused approach.
Child Protection
We represent parents and caregivers involved in child protection matters, including proceedings under the Child, Family and Community Service Act and matters involving Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). These cases are often urgent and deeply personal. We provide thoughtful guidance, strong advocacy, and steady support throughout the process.
